Yeah, it's a cutie eh? We have lots of it in our kangaroo grass grassland, which is kept fairly low and open by heavy grazing by roos etc. It seems to like that. You've managed not to include any of the distinctive leaves which have 2 leaflets held in a V and are a bit glossy. I would call it a herb rather than a vine as although it has long branches that spread across the ground it doesn't actually twine around things.
