This is actually a native millipede rather than a Portuguese millipede. It has an outward bow on each segment, just visible in the photo. O. moreleti has a generally smooth appearance.

Many thanks SimoneC. They also seem to be a litttle shorter than descriptions of the Portugese that I have seen.
