Will look into your suggestion @Hejor1 ! What's known of their range is suspected to be driven by human transport (Hurni-Cranston & Hill, 2021) so it could be a possibility.

Thanks Michael. There are a number of these orange-faced spiders with their spotty abdomens in the Euophryinae sp. (undescribed) category. Golden palps are usually plainer.

The "strange shiny thing" on the ventral side is a parasite, something like a fly or wasp larvae, feeding on the spider
