Galaxiids (Order: Galliformes)

GALAXIAS

Galaxias are a genus of small freshwater fish. They are scaleless and somewhat tubular in body form. Only Mountain Galaxias are commonly recorded in the region. Stocky Galaxias are restricted to one known site. Any sighting of galaxiids will help provide a greater understanding of this genus.

I've marked this as G. olidus, however it may be an undescribed species. @MattBeitzel any thoughts?
