Drouin Township. Complicated story: Male fist-cross hybrid mated to a straight bred female eximius. They were regular visitors to the area for several weeks, then became very intermittent, After a few weeks they started becoming regular again, the arrived one day with three young. It is the first time I have seen a first cross male breed, thus demonstrating fertility. The photos are: male and female, then two of the male (Front and rear) , a close up of a young bird then the three young together.
