About 30-40 plants on the edge of the road, I keyed this to either O.erubescens or O.myrsinoides. Which is confusing as both are typically motane species
I'm pretty sure this is right, from what I can judge, O. myrsinoides is less restricted to montane regions in Vic and more widespread in a variety of habitats, while O. erubescens remains more of a montane thing throughout
Yeah, it’s where I was leaning also. There is a record form further along the road I think. O.erubescens is def coastal tho, I’ve seen it on headlands literally metres from the sea not so far north
